The critical factor in the overall growth of the Your Mates brand is getting as high as possible in The Hottest 100. To do so, Caravel Media executed a database building strategy that focused on the believability of winning for customers. Instead of giving away one large prize, we focused on high frequency, lower cost prizing that would ultimately drive more entries to increase the database and voting power.
Newsfeed and story placements across key social platforms drove cost efficient contest entries which we optimised using first party data and lookalikes to bring the cost per entry down to an extremely low investment. These campaigns added an extra 7000 potential voters which helped Your Mates increase two places to the third hottest craft beer in Australia.
